GREEN HOUSE GAS SAVINGS FROM RESOURCE EFFICIENCY PROJECTS
Responses to this call for projects will be formally assessed from 1st April 2009. Project proposals will be assessed on a monthly basis from this date until 30th Sept or until all funding is allocated.
£450,000 of capital funding has been allocated for 2009/10.
Overview of project
REY has published this call for projects to invite businesses and stakeholders from the environmental, waste management, recycling and associated sectors to submit business growth plans and project proposals for potential support and investment funding.
In our priority areas REY will, over the next three years, be investing in a significant number of projects within the Yorkshire and Humber region.
In this call our aim is to start up, develop or enhance the scale, capacity or quality of regional companies with plans to facilitate waste reduction, re-use, collection and/or reprocessing.

In previous years a business led projects have been funded ranging from £20,000 to £120,000.
