A new European R&D Support Programme established by Yorkshire Forward

Research funding for waste, recycling and energy recovery projects are a good fit with the R&D grant allocations of Euro1.9bn to Environmental projects, and Euro2.3bn to Energy projects from the overall total of over Euro50bn.

The new support team can provide a range of help from basic advice to proposal writing support and helping to find research and other project partners, such as the regions universities. All support is free.

Whilst there are currently no open calls in the Energy & Environment areas you can register for ebulletins so you are notified of future calls for proposals and any events and workshops that are run.

There will be calls for Energy & Environment research projects later this year and early next year however we need to start to identify opportunities and begin partner search activities in advance of the calls for organisations with specific interests. 

There could also be strategic initiatives or projects which Yorkshire businesses wish to invest in or start up that could be eligible for FP7 funding, for example new research or demonstration facilities or technology transfer activities.
